Hi Everywichwaybutloose. I had that experience once and it was quite bad but after a week it had started to disappear although it was quite scary at the time. If you're worried, contact your clinic and ask them for advice.

Hi, Everywichwaybutloose, it can happen very rarely when an eye vessel is accidentalky hit when injecting, it does not hurt but obviously the eye can be red for around a week, it happened once to me. Obviously check with your clinic for reassurance.

Hi I had a bloody eye for almost 3 weeks a couple of years ago. I phoned the hospital for reassurance but found the whole experience quite scary

At one time I always walked away from injections with blood shot eye. I have since figured out that if my eye is dry or if allergies are acting up, is when it happens. Now I start the day before making sure I remember to put eye drops in and the morning before appointment. I haven't had it happen since. I also could see no white, it was scary but wherever I called I always told don't worry about it.

Yes, it's happened to me twice. Cleared up after a few days.

Yes happened after the 2nd round of injections, it cleared up after a week. My Dr did warn me but said not to worry since its caused from nicking a superficial blood vessel with the needle.

hi there it is just the equivilant of a bruise in the eye nothing to worry about at all some bruises take longer to disappear than others. Hope it clears up soon. They usually know if they book a blood vessel and will say so and sometimes put some pressure on it to help stop the bruising effect but maybe they did not do this.
