I have osteoporosis, macular disease and I am also hypothyroid. I was put on alendronic acid a few years ago, and then Omeprazole for heartburn caused by the alendronic acid. After one box my eyes went blurry. I came off both straight away. Fortunately, the blurriness cleared, but I would never risk it again. Hope this helps.
