does anyone on here have osteoporosis and macular degeneration. I do and my family doctor wants me to take alendronate but I have read it can make the amd worse. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I don’t have osteoporosis but do take d3/calcium tablets plus k2 and thst has helped my bone density

I have both AMD and osteoporosis. I also have Prostate cancer. I take K-2 and Vt D-3. Also a Prolia injection every 6 months.
I have osteoporosis, macular disease and I am also hypothyroid. I was put on alendronic acid a few years ago, and then Omeprazole for heartburn caused by the alendronic acid. After one box my eyes went blurry. I came off both straight away. Fortunately, the blurriness cleared, but I would never risk it again. Hope this helps.
yes. I get Eylea injections every 5 weeks and Reclast infusion every year. No problems.
