AMD and Hashimoto

I’ve recently been diagnosed with AMD and awaiting treatment. I’m now worrying that the injections might in some way interfere with my thyroid medication and was wondering if anyone else has been/ is in a similar situation.

hi, I really don’t know. Do you know if you are having injections and of what? If you know you could Google to see if there is any interactions between meds. I have Eylea injections and steroids (prednisolone) for PMR without a problem. I.

I have been having injections of eyeless for 10 years and take 100mg of thyroxine daily , with no problems .

I have been taking thyroid meds for years. I have had no problems with the injections in either eye so far.

I have been on Thyroxine for sixty five years and have had eyelea and lucentis injections at various times over the past five years without any problem that I am aware of

I too have 75mg thyroxine daily and no problems. I have also never been asked if I was taking thyroxine. The only things they seem to worry about are antibiotics.
