Relocation help

Hello, at present I live in London and attend an eye clinic at a local hospital for Eyelea injections. Later in the year I may be moving to Wells in Somerset and am wondering if anyone in that area can please tell me where the nearest eye clinic for injections is, I do not drive, but know that Wells has a bus station, and of course good taxi companies. Any advice much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Penelopeflower. You could try contacting the Medical Centre in Wells and asking them where your nearest clinic would be if you are an NHS patient. Other than that, I wouldn't know I'm afraid. Good luck. x

That's a shame and surprising I think. How about your present eye clinic - have you asked them? I'm wondering if you would have to go the Weston General Hospital but it is quite a way from Wells. I would think there is somewhere nearer but try your present clinic for now. x

It’s something I consider when thinking of moving out of London and the wonderful eye unit I attend. Hospital websites should say what departments and specialisms. You can ring and ask?!

Weston has an excellent Outreach Clinic staffed by Bristol Eye Hospital which I can recommend. Other than that, might be worth checking Taunton Hospital.

Yes, that's right. I think it would be the nearest for you in Wells. Good luck on your move. Bristol Eye Hospital Weston outreach seems excellent and we are so lucky to have them in the area.
