Safety of long term eylea injections for Retina Vein Occlusion treatment.

Hi There, Going on 2 years for injections of eylea. Is it safe to be on this for that long. I have Retina Vein Occlusion in my left eye.

There is no limit to how many eyelea injections a person can have, so having the treatment for 2 years is perfectly safe

Hi leardallan. I have been having Eylea injections for over two years now and there are many more who have been having them for several years so don't worry, they are helping you. x

Indeed it’s fine I am 4 years on Eylea monthly and altogether 9 years monthly on anti veg-f.

I’ve met people who’ve been having injections for much much longer than that and I’ve been having them 4 years!
