Considering continuing with injections?

Hi Everyone

I hope you are managing to keep safe and well through this pandemic that is effecting everyone , my heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones.

During the past 6 weeks I have cancelled 2 appointments with suspected COVID although I don’t think it was personally, I do suffer with low immunity and catch things very easily.

I am feeling lots better after 5 weeks off a debilitating virus, my consultant has rung twice but wasn’t well enough to go the the injections.

I like you all are worried that my eyesight will deteriorate and I am thinking now to go for an injection. After reading the recent experiences in clinic it seems quite safe and well organised.

I wonder if anyone has attended the Countess of Chester hospital and was is the procedure here?

I do think that the scans are a. Very important to know what changes have occurred especially when injections have been missed for months as in my case.

If you are well it would be worth attending check ups as deterioration can

Cause sight loss if not caught and treated .

Thanks for reply. Good luck on Monday. I have a check up on the 18th May,

Which will be with a two month gap since the last one. I will need an

Injection soon, have been waiting two months for the Gesy (Cyprus NHS)

To authorize funding for same. Hopefully they will sort it out soon.

I do hope you get the funding ok, no doubt you are worrying about the time between injections, are you in Cyprus now? Hoping you are keeping well and not seeing at deterioration in your sight?
