What are your tips for Self Care?

Good Morning Everyone!

A little while ago I asked for your tips on cleaning, thank you to those that shared, really appreciated.

This time I'm asking for quick tips on self care, for example, making sure you can find matching clothes in the wardrobe, making sure you're not wearing odd shoes etc. Anything like that would be brilliant!

Thanks Again

Becky

I have LOTS of trousers & whilst I can see some clearly, Black & Navy are the main issue, so all Black items have a red ribbon on the top of the coathanger for quick decision making, also saves time having to ask my husband!!

My entire wardrobe is organised in sections - the main wardrobe has 4 sections, tops, jackets, skirts & trousers and in rainbow order within sections.

Similarly the section for longer items such as dresses and tunics is in colour order, as are drawers of sweaters which are “file folded” Marie Kondo style

Takes ages to put the laundry away, but I’d sooner spend the time then than when getting dressed

Like Susie16 I have trouble telling navy and black apart, so I wrote NAVY with a Sharpie on the white labels of the relevant trousers, and for those without suitable labels and for opaque tights I sewed a tuft of bright blue wool in the back of the waistband which I can see and feel

Don't know if this general knowledge but if I can't read the print labels on medicine or skin preparation etc and don't have a magnifier to hand I take a photo on my mobile phone then I can magnify as much as I want.

Good idea, there are also free magnifier apps for phones which are pretty good. On my android phone I have Smart Tools magnifier, the icon is just a pic of an upright "sherlock Holmes" type magnifier.

I once went to work in odd shoes way before I ever had sight issues lol.

Now I wonder if maybe using a peg to clip them together at the sides might work? You'd have to clip them again as soon as you took them off of course.

Or keeping each pair in it's own box ? (asda do plastic shoe boxes and they must be available online ). Again, promptly putting them back in.

Thinking about wart123hog's pic idea, you could have pics of each pair so you can enlarge to see colour etc? Number each box / peg so its visible in pic and you can tell which shoes are where.
