Just advised that my injection for wet amd cancelled at private hospital as all opthalmology appointments now cancelled. Advised that injection might be done at NHS hospital at some future time but priority will be given to patients with only one good eye. Understandable but nevertheless very concerning!

I was told eye clinics at hospitals were closing but that eye injections would continue.

What will you do? You could always ring the Macular Society for advice.

Thanks for your reply. I have emailed the Macula Society in the hope that they can lobby for all wet and sufferers and will feed back if appropriate

I just phoned my NHS hospital eye clinic and mine is still going ahead. Very grateful for all they are doing at this difficult time.
