I has some large black bubbles last time that lasted a day or two. This was unusual.

I did too! 33 injections - I almost always get that annoying bubble but it’s always better day two. And those annoying floaters show up after an injection (and often between them) and they have become the norm too but this HUGE solid black circle is awful! Doc wasn’t concerned about it but I find it odd that sometimes it doesn’t happen. It’s so large, so black and perfectly round. Thankfully it also passes eventually but it’s so annoying!

Generally goes away quickly - other floaters etc 4/5 days. Please don't worry . I'm sure you'll be fine.

Not long usually 24 to 48 hrs, I've had them a fair few times, no harm done, they will gradually disappear, don't worry.

HGello - I've had an air bubble on a few occasions over past two years since having injections. First one alarmed me because it appeared as a moving black spot in my vision immediately after injection so I phoned the eye clinic where I had injection and they told me it was air escaping into the eye from the injection & would disperse naturally usually within 24 hours, and it did. Have had a couple of similar things since but not worried about it now I know the reason. Hope that helps.

Dear Depoefan,

Air bubbles usually gradually shrink and disappear by themselves within a few days. If they are still there after a few days or if you notice any changes in your vision, then call your eye clinic.

Kind regards,
