Felt sure I had read on a post here something about antobiotics and wet amd injections. Can anyone help. Have been on antibiotics for some four days now and amd eye constantly watering and itchy.

What does the Macular Society say? (Helpline 0300 3030 111). I've been on an antibiotic course, but my eyes have been OK. As far as I know antibiotics don't affect wet AMD.
Its to do with not having an infection if you are about to have an eye inj I think.
Yes it was probably my post you saw as I am always asked if I have been on antibiotics prior to injections and wondered why. As eyesight says it is to do with if you have had an infection. I was unlucky to have a cyst on my eyelid some months ago and they wouldn't inject. I now have another cyst caused by blepharitis on my good eye so just hope it clears up before next injection. Good luck to you.
