Eyelea injections
Hi jharwood
There is no hard and fast rule at what point you should see an improvement after your injetions. It very much depends on the severety of your condition and also if there is any permanent damage. We are all different and respond differently to any treatment. Some people notice an improvement after the very first injection, for others it may take longer or don't notice any at all. Time will tell. So be patient and Good Luck.
Best wishes x
Dear Jharwood18,
The function of the injections for wet AMD is to suppress the abnormal blood vessels, stabilise the eye, maintain vision and prevent further damage. However sometimes individuals do also notice a slight improvement. When they do, this tends to be within the first 2-3 injections.
