Thanks again to those who said I should tell my travel insurance people about my WMD - just in case. I bit the bullet and told them, and surprise, surprise, it has only cost me £10 for admin purposes, so obviously, they don't worry about this particular health problem. At least that puts it in perspective and anyone taking out a new travel policy can declare it without worrying.
