Dear Nurcanak,

First of all, can I just check if you have been referred to a retinal specialist with specialisms in hereditary conditions? If not, it may be advisable to request a referral to one via your GP. Please contact us if you would like us to help you locate ophthalmologists with specialisms in that area.

We currently have a free 6 month membership offer. Please ring us if you are interested in this. This would allow you to receive our research publication Digest. The current edition has some information on research which is being carried out in the field. Membership is the best way to be kept up to date with current research.

Please do not hesitate to contact us back if we can be of any further assistance.

Our helpline is open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday on 0300 3030 111.

Kind regards,
