Hi åll had 5th injection on thursday and two days later its still ley bloodshot .ord its never done this before .any ideas

Sometimes the injection can catch a tiny blood vessel behind the eye causing the redness. I have experienced the same condition. Please don't worry it will disappear.

Gunning96 may be right, but if the symptoms still persist and you are worried, may we suggest that you telephone your eye clinic. They may wish to see you again, or may simply reassure you that all is OK.

Hi there I have had about 25 injections in one of my eyes and 18 in the other. It is perfectly normal to get blood shot eyes especially if you have already had a few injections so it is nothing to worry about. It just happens because they like to inject in fresh areas ( the generally record where they inject on your notes ie upper right quadrent ) and sometimes that is nearer a blood vessel. What is important is if your sight is still different after a week. Then a call would be warranted. Hope that helps.
