I thought about this too grandpa as not been diagnosed yet x
I can't see a problem, but WHY do you want to?
Is it another auto immune illness granpa? Very often the symptoms overlap & there are lots of similarities, so it is useful to keep up to date.

Hi Granpa,
You're welcome to stay on this forum if you find it helpful. You might also be interested to know that the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) have a forum here on healthunlocked. You might also like to join that. You can join at nras.healthunlocked.com
Hi Granpa, I am glad you have found us, perhaps we can all try and help you in someway.
If only to let you know there are people in the same situation and understand just how you feel. It is one of the sad and worst things about Lupus and Rheumatiod arthriis that because we can not get around you 'loose' friends that do not understand and we get isolated and lonely even when you have a partner. You can 'be alone' with ones you love as you don't want to be a 'burden' ! I go to a swimming pool and they have Full dissabled equipted and can get me in the water with a chair if I can not manage the special steps. I have made friends with other dissabled people who go because it is the ONLY thing they can do. Make enquiries to your local council or Health workers and they should be able to tell you what is near and you Should qualify for a 'doctors referal' so you do not pay.
Good Luck. Talk again soon.
Well I think that is great, lovely ,super what a great bunch of people on this site .Happy for you grandpa x
Hi granpa
I am new here so don't really know the boundaries of the site but I can tell you that Rheumatoid arthritis is an Autoimmune disease. Ok it's different to Lupus but a lot of the symptoms are the same and very often before your immune system decides which way it is going to fly you can present with both lupus and rheumatoid symptoms and then eventually your system presents with either lupus or RA.
Good luck with either staying or finding an RA group. The group that runs for RA is called NRAS and they have a really good site and you can find a local group for your area from the site, here's the link:
