We've just been contacted by Tiger Aspect TV Production Company, who are looking for people with lupus for a brand new pilot medical programme.
The contributor would receive two separate consultations and diagnosis from two doctors; Chris and Alexander Van Tulleken. One consultation will involve the use of conventional medicine and the other will involve the use of alternative treatments.
The patient would then decide which treatment they would like to opt for. They will then be given 5 weeks to try out the treatment, before returning to see the doctors to discuss its effectiveness.
All potential patients will undergo stringent assessments as to their suitability to appear on the programme, not only by Chris and Alexander, but also by an independent GP who will need to check their medical records.
The criteria for any potential patients are that they are;
• Under the age of 45
• Articulate
• Happy to show their condition on the programme
• Somebody with a visible lupus rash is preferable to the company
• Somebody that is currently not taking any treatment for their lupus is also preferable
Recording will be in Central London on Saturday 3rd December – Tiger Aspect TV will reimburse or arrange all travel and they are happy to have contributors from anywhere in the country (though preferably close to London)
LUPUS UK have no involvement with this programme. Any treatment taken by the contributor is entirely of their own choice.
