Mycophenolate and methotrexate?

Just wondering of anyone is taking both mycophenolate and methotrexate? Mycophenolate helping kidneys but not joints so rheumy wants me to start methotrexate as well. Wanted to know how people cope with both of them and their side effects. Thanks

Hello, I havent been on the mycophenolate. But my organs are not affected.(yet) Thank goodness. Anyways, My rumy has me on 1.0ml injectiontions weekly,of metho, and predinson. for joints, it helps but not completly. About 20% improvement. I was on imuram before, and it did zero. ou should try it, buit like our meds , they have yucky sideeffects. hope this helps
