I have just been to the Well Pharmacy to see if they have the small amount of hydroxy that they owe me, but sadly not. They use Alliance so I explained about Zentiva and Boots Alliance etc and the pharmacist was impressed. They are going to phone Alliance up to place the order and I should check in on Wednesday. Then I drove in a different direction to my usual pharmacy to collect my other meds. They had one box of Zentiva out of 2 for this month, but still owe me 4 so they are going to keep trying. What a load of hassle! Not updated before now because I face planted concrete pavement last Saturday - sober - and my face has been a kaleidoscope of colours. It still is but less obvious oh the vanity of it. Take care all, good luck getting your Zentiva x

So sorry to hear about your fall. Hope you soon recover. It really shakes you up, doesn't it. Thanks again for what you're doing re the Zentiva carry-on. I wish there was a way we could co-ordinate all the separate little efforts we are making on our own behalf but ultimately for the benefit of all of us who rely so much on this particular medication.

Thank you, improving every day but you are right, it does shake you up. All these snippets of information hopefully make it easier for everyone. All too easy to sort yourself and not think about others, but not my way of thinking. Lupus UK will have other information for us soon - results of postcode issues and what they learnt from Zentiva and others. Fingers crossed but not toes as I might fall over : ) x

Oh take care of yourself. ❤️And so it goes on, I have put a note on my online med order, hope the issuer reads it. I'm off all hydroxycholoquin for a week anyway as I'm taking antifungals. GP was so busy checking my pee, bloods ,BP, chest , abdo I forgot to ask about Zentiva , and again at the pharmacy . Idiot.

Sooo, my latest today on Zentiva, in a word or two cant get any, well not a full script, so my GP's young man in office rang me today to explain he has been ringing all the pharmacies within a 20 mile radius inc. city and over the border towns and nobody has a 'warehouse' that supplies them, he even spoke to Zentiva about Bopots not able to order them etc, so me in tears yet again for 5th month in a row of begging around pharmacies etc, so next Tuesday he is going to speak to the practice pharmacist, no chemist attached to us, about it all, I wont hold my breath!!

That is not good news for you and you don’t need the extra stress. We seem to be in a familiar cycle of left hand right hand. Knocking a few head’s together might help if we could get them all in the same room. Zentiva must know how many they are selling to these mystery distributors and if sales are down, do something about it. Price definitely comes into this somewhere.
