Dermaplaning
I would have a small patch done first and see. I've had laser hair removal, ok on armpits and bikini but got a terrible rash when it came to my legs so stopped after one go. You just never know how certain areas of skin will react. It's difficult with your face as the hair is pale and soft usually so laser or waxing is not much good. Since menopause I've plucked or pinched hubbies razor for peach fuzz. I'd be interested to see how you go with it.
patch test done on neck and all ok… might be brave and give it a go !
I'd not really heard of it before. Let me know if it's worth doing.
I do my own, but I don't suppose it is on the "deep" scale of how the professionals do it. I have had no reaction whatsoever at any time, but I was doing this before diagnosis of Lupus. I use the Hollywood Browzer, the battery operated one, where you change the heads. Sometimes they have them on QVC so you can try for 60 days and if it doesn't work for you, you can send it back. Best wishes xx 🙏
Dermaplaining is nothing more than using a razor on your skin for hair, eyebrows, dry skin removal etc.
For some reason I produce lots of softy, downy hair/dry flaky skin on my face.
I shave it off frequently using cheap male disposable, recyclable plastic razors. Does a great job.
Afterwards I moisturise / use antiseptic Dermol 500 if there’s any razor burn.
Buying male razors is best rather than paying extra for those expensive, designer feminised ones or scalpels so often advertised on YouTube.
