New to lupus: nauseous and urgent vomiting.

Hi again, still off work with lower back and neck inflamed. Which just flares up when I am active. A new thing I have been getting is nausea and urgent vomiting and retching, sometimes lots of froth. Worse when I drink a hot drink, that made me throw up today! Anyone else get this with lupus or is it something else I wonder? I also have coeliacs disease.

although I don’t know the answer to your question,I felt I had to reply.

I’ve got chronic lung disease and auto immune conditions. I find it difficult to sort out what’s causing each symptom.

It’s hard to know how the different conditions react together.

Plus there’s the problem / complexity of side effects of drugs were on.

It’s m on I’m on Myclophenate for my Rheumatoid Athritis.

It’s reduced my appetite and I get random pains,but I’ve balanced this against my joints not hurting,so that I can stay mobile.

I’m onNintendanibfor my lung fibrosis.

The consultant acknowledged that he didn’t know how it would interact with my other meds.I’m 3 months in,it’s ok so far.

I’m sorry for such a lengthy post,but I wanted to say is there are some things we can’t find out.

Have you considered posting this On a coeliac forum ?

Hi, I have lupus & scleroderma along with a hiatus hernia & other problems that come from the illness. I also have reduced motility of my oesophagus from the scleroderma. I am constantly feeling nauseous, vomiting or feeling like something is stuck in my throat & burp. Frequently frothy burps.

I take esomeprazol, famotidine, anti sickness medication & gaviscon 4 times daily. I would make a note of anything that affects you & speak to your doctor.

Hope you get some relief & answers quickly. 🙂
