Hi All,

My GP recently mentioned a new website which has been set up for patients who have been referred to hospital in NHS England, so I wanted to flag it here in case you hadn’t come across this.

As part of the plan to tackle the pandemic backlog the government has set up a this website to help give you a better idea of waiting times and what do while waiting for referrals or treatment on the NHS in England: myplannedcare.nhs.uk. Each trust and each hospital department is being instructed to publish their waiting times each week.

Statement from NHS England about the new website: england.nhs.uk/2022/02/nhs-...

This seems to be an England only initiative so apologies to anyone in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Sadly….at my hospital anyway….the rheumatology department is not included.

That’s a shame :( hopefully they’ll get added soon. I think it’s a work in progress so hopefully it’ll get more useful over time
