Shivering sands
Nice beach, when I visited Norfolk it was all stones. I stayed near G Yarmouth. Ancestor hunting around Dereham, I wish I could have stayed longer.
Did you find ancestry though? π
yes, some I wasn't expecting and others I couldn't find
Beautiful stills. Xxπβ€π
One of my favourite places on the planet, thank you for sharing, I needed a Norfolk fix x
Looks so peaceful and judging by the smooth sands little used on that day. How wonderful. My Norfolk ancestry is more from the west near Heacham and from the Fens around Wisbech. Sadly no sandy beaches there but we love the βbig skiesβ and fabulous sunsets when we go each year, which we havenβt managed to do for 2 years running now. Thanks for the fabulous peaceful pic Stills. π€πx
I live not far away from Wisbech.
My family were from Parson Drove. Do you know it? We normally go every year to see to family graves and stay in Wisbech St Mary. X
Sorry no I donβt but next time we drive that way I will seek it out π

Beautiful. It looks peaceful. My dogs Brodie and Dylan would just love it xx
I think Battersea dogs home were on their annual outing to the beach that day as I saw hundreds of dogs all totally loving it π
My idea of bliss β€οΈπΆπΆπΆπΆ
Great dog names π
Thatβs gorgeous. I would love to go there. Thx for sharing.
ah, wouldnt it be better if they put a board walk along so that us disabled on scooters could access the beach and be near to the sea, those were the days xx
Yes! I admit I struggled with my limp especially on the sand. Hubby was worried the tide would come in before we got back to firm land π€£
