Any recommendations for lupus friendly holiday destinations in July? I'd like to go abroad but obviously not somewhere too hot. Thanks.

Hi

I'm trying the Harz mountains in Germany this year and Norway next year. we also always find Scotland's about 5 degrees colder than England it's a bit rough on my partner who likes warmth!

I went to Norway a couple of years ago and it did me the world of good. The air and light are fabulous you can drink from the streams and the food though simple is wholesome and just what was wanted. But you will have to use those legs. On the other hand, I walked further higher and for longer than I thought was possible and felt great for it. The seasons are more extreme than ours. Spring is later, but sudden, and the summer is short. That late night light is rather disturbing until you get used to it.

If you can stretch to it. Vancouver Canada or the surrounding coast is fantastic. Though like Norway it does rain the same as here. i know an island off van which is a sandbar. You can lie on white sand beeches breathing mountain fresh air and looking at glaciers and snow capped mountains on the horizon. Plus the place sits on an aquafir, so spring water on tap. This place is heaven on earth, no roads not law not mains power. and very friendly people most of whom have heard of Lupus.
