Mycophenolate

I have now been on full dose for 5 weeks now, one issue I have is diarrhoea, which is hopeless when out and about. I want to give this drug a shot as its improved my skin and also hoping it will improve my lungs.

Can anyone tell me if this is short term effect with just being new on it, they say 3 month before it works well.

I don't know if they can reduce strength slightly or not.

Hi, when I first started mmf I was on 1500mg morning and evening which like you gave me diarrhoea. I reduced it to 1000mg of a morning and 1500mg of an evening and have no problems at all.

Get your doctor to jiggle with the dose, it’s well worth it for the results.

Good luck.
