Hi folks hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday- here is Mira after a bath wrapped up in a blanket looking very cute , she is doing really well on walks now and is really getting her confidence up although she still barks sometimes at other dogs and then Bea, her mum will also join in with the barking 😂 have a good rest of the week 😦

Hi Lovely shot of hers, was curious, did you have to learn dog grooming to keep her so cute?

My daughter has become a good hand at scissors & hair trimmers....only let her trim my hair so far, hers has gone very short 🤗 ml

No we didn’t do a course on dog grooming- we bought some really good clippers for dogs and watched a video on YouTube- my fiancé does most of it whilst I give treats along the way😂 xx

Hi SV. I saw the Consultant ortho surgeon recently who said he's not sure why I'm still having difficulty walking and pain in my hip/leg/knee despite the steroid/anaesthetic jab into my hip and a hefty daily dose of Gabapentin.

He thinks I might have a torn knee ligament and has requested a contrast MRI, which I'll get in a couple of weeks. He strongly suspects a connective tissue problem, but my Rheumy sent me to see him in the first place as he wasn't sure what was going on 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

BTW, I hope your knee's feeling better with the steroid jab?

Oh how frustrating- sorry your still in pain and annoying that you can’t get a definite diagnosis, hopefully the MRI appointment will be soon - 1 day my knee is ok the next it’s not - so annoying- yes weather has been awful today, we just invested in a log burning hot tub so we’ve been in there this afternoon in the rain - it was lovely and heats up so quickly compared to our lazy spa that takes all day to warm up - take care ♥️

These knees do seem to cause us peeps problems. I hope the hot tub does yours a bit of good - what a wonderful excuse. Hmmmm, I wonder if hubby'll fall for it.....

Thank you, yes I can walk a few yards on my sticks now without the air turning blue lol I even made a tiramisu from my chair with Neil running back and forth with eggs, cream, coffee. It was hilarious. He picked up a packet of Savoiardi biscuits which I had opened and they fell to the flour. Brodie and Dylan thought it was their Birthdays. He then picked another packet up and did the same 🙄Fortunately I had extras. The end result was lush so it was worth his efforts and the boys got treats so even better and we laughed. Thank you as always for your kindness xxx

I was initially exasperated then just roared when he said you have opened that one but not this one? As he did he turned it and they all came tumbling out for the second time. I wish I had been quick enough to get my phone, it was really funny. We need a good belly laugh sometimes don’t we? You have a lovely week too despite the awful weather xxx

Cecily, Glad you are a bit better. I love tiramisu although I still have no taste from Covid in November. Going on 6 months, but I can imagine how delicious it would be. Gig would also be in heaven. She thinks every thing is a treat for her. I love that in spite of the chaos, it brought some laughter and you shared it with all of us.

Oh no bless you. It must be difficult to eat having no taste? Yes honestly it was lovely. We made enough so that my lovely Rosemary could take some home for her daughter and her girlfriend too. I have just made a coffee cake with Baileys frosting as she is visiting tomorrow. I have had a real giggle on this forum today and what a tonic it has been . I really hope your taste returns soon xxx

Hi SV. Mira looks so cute, cuddly and cosy in her lovely pink blanket. 😍 I love all her toys sitting behind her too. 🤩 Does she enjoy being bathed? Murray used to hate it but enjoyed the fuss afterwards when being dried. 😆 He had such a thick coat it took ages to dry so here he is on his day bed in the kitchen wearing an old vest of my Dad’s to keep him warm until he dried thoroughly. Good to hear Mira’s confidence is growing while out walking. 👍🏻 Enjoyed the post. 🤗😘xx

Oh Murry looks so cute in the vest ❤️ Mira is so good having a bath , her mum Bea absolutely hates bath time though, they shiver 🥶 after a bath so always wrap them in a blanket x
