I start to believe I might have lupus and went undiagnosed. At the age of 19 I had under skin cyst on both legs,which were treated with lupus errhematosos pills and injections of penicillin. Now, in my early forties, I have constant body aches, shoulders and hips, nothing seems to fix them, and redness on my chicks and nose. I also have hashimoto.. could that be lupus?

Impossible to say without a battery of tests for Lupus. It could be, but you cant be sure without a proper diagnosis. Try see if you can get some tests done. I was undiagnosed properly for decades.

Thanks I will have a ANA blood check, would that be ok?

Two different things. Did your doctor order the ANA?

Yes, just the GP because i spoke to him about the symptoms

Okay, good. Sounds like GP on top of things. Hashimoto’s is autoimmune and with your skin involvement they must have been keeping an eye on you.

Yes
