Anyone on blood thinners?

Last summer a hairdresser mistakenly ripped out an ear ring on my left ear (I have two piercings on each ear), and I had to let it heal closed. I am on warfarin now and was wanting to get it pierced again, but am wondering if I can on blood thinners?

If your INR is good for you, site is kept as clean as possible, as well as the piercing being done swiftly to a clean ear it would be safe. That's my opinion obviously. I've had SLE with APS treated with warfarin like you for many years and when I cut myself by accident I just keep it clean until healing.

Hope it puts a smile back on your face after the accident at the hairdressers I really do especially just having noticed your post re the face rash. I've had Lupus for sixteen years now and one of the lucky few, had plenty of problems but no rash. Good luck with treatment and take things steady. Anything you're worried about search on here, Lupus UK, Lupus.org or other decent sites as you'll always find others or info about things that may concern you that have asked before.Have a good weekend x
