Rheumatology helpline unable to leave a message

Does anyone know why the help line at Leeds chapel Allerton is not accepting voice Mail after 4pm .

I’ve just called now at 4:30 to request a return call ?

Says to call back tomorrow ?

I didn't know there was a voice mail service. The last time I called I had to ring 135 times before I got through (the line is permanently busy whenever I try). Unless it's a different helpline to the one I've been calling, in which case I'd love to hear more!

Wow 135 times , I did get through a couple of weeks ago first attempt , must have been 🍀.. Yet in the recent past it’s been impossible to get through or leave a message . I was that stopping the help line at 4pm could be communicated to all patients 🙄.. Even more so has I was at my face to face last Thursday , no mention then either .

They’ve stopped taking messages after 4pm now, it’s very annoying but I’ve had to ring them within their hours now, which they’ve done due to coronavirus.

It’s all good changing the way the help line is , surly telling the people they are helping that they have done this , would also help 🤤

It may be worth trying the PALs team explaining your problem. Not much of a "helpline" if they make it so hard to make contact with them. Good luck.

I know . Sometimes it’s just general information , and told they cannot access notes . Anxiety can be experienced at times .. I thought about pals too . Not sure if calling pals helps things .
