Good morning all, I hope that you are all well today.

I had my vaccine on Thursday, the Oxford one. I felt very nauseous until today and my arm is still very sore. Other than that I feel fine and happy to have had it tbh.

Also can I ask what you guys find are the best painkillers as I find paracetamol are not always strong enough and lastly do any of you suffer with your teeth/gums more than is considered normal? Thanks in advance

Hi Mala23 I am pleased that you had the vaccine without awful reactions. I am on morphine ( mst). It is not the best option but I had exhausted everything else. I tried Garbapentin, Tramadol, Butrans patches, Oramorph, Cocodamol. My guns bleed but I do not have gum disease, my dentist says it is inflammation My teeth have started to crumble. I get regular mouth and tongue ulcers. My new Rheumatologist prescribed a three in one mouthwash of soluble prednisalone, antibiotic and Nystatin which certainly relieves the pain and clears it up quicker than it used to. I hope you find something that helps you. Maybe a referral to the pain clinic? Good luck xx
