Doc says stay away from crowds with automimmune problems, no spleen and low IG M. Shipment of immunoglobulin is back in USA. Will be getting it soon. Have no energy. Really appreciate this group and would love feedback. Thanks to everyone here for having shared in such a heartfelt way.

anyone with Low IG M
Glad your doc is well & truly on your case & giving GOOD advice...no spleen + low IgM can only make you v vulnerable
Yes, my Ig G, A & M are all chronically below normal ref range...and have been for a long time - hence my history of childhood onset complex persistence pattern multisystem infections including sepsis. Immunology calls this panhypogammagolbulinaemia, which is a humeral antibody deficiency disease classed as Primary Immunodeficiency Disease (PID).
Immunology has me on daily antibiotics long term + 3-weekly IVIG at infusion clinic - all of which is helping me a lot....along side daily combined therapy meds for all the autoimmunity i’ve got in action. Simultaneous immunodeficiency & autoimmunity is uncommon, but does affect some of us - and in my case, as well as many others, is primary (ie not secondary due to taking immunosuppression meds etc)
Am so glad you’re here nanno. I hope you’ll keep us posted + that your treatment plan helps a lot

Hi. I always have a low IgM - but no problem with my spleen - but nobody has commented on this.
