Hi daisy am so sorry to hear about your hair loss. I started with a cycle of losing my hair it thinning and drying out then it would to grow back and I put it down to lupus or something similar. I got nowhere with my drs and was fobbed off and told it was just my age or the menopause. In desperation I looked at alternative remedies. I now take lots of vitamins and supplements and include fresh herbs which I put in smoothies. Drink lots of bottled mineral water and give up as much sugar, salt, dairy, Tao waters and anything not natural as possible. Also put castor oil in your hair a few times a week and you will see a huge difference. Am just on the vegan raw food diet with lots of supplements for good gut bacteria too. It’s the only thing keeping me going. When I cheat and stop I just go back to being ill and my hair starts thinning out. Have a look online for tips on healthy hair it’s amazing what tips you can pick up also try just washing your hair weekly and put on lots of conditioner to see if that helps too. Have just bought some supplements from Holland which cost a fortune as I believe they get 5 star reviews and if they work I will let you know. Let me know how you get on with your hair once you have made some changes. Have a great week and take care. Elena

Thank you so much for you reply. Just one thing can you use any castor oil and do you just put it on the scalp or all of your hair.

Hi daisy try the black castor oil use a old pillowcase as it gets all over your pillowcase. I found its really good. I leave it in my hair twice a week overnight then wash it off in the morning. If you can also put some fresh rosemary in a blender with a smoothie too as it’s good for your hair. Also try caffeine shampoo and conditioner. I try everything and wear a wig when I am going out. Try massaging your scalp daily and brush your hair with your head dipped down so the blood gets to your scalp. I am totally obsessed at getting better hair. Have noticed my bald patches have gone just left with fine hair at the top of my scalp. My husband thinks good hair just grows regardless but I know now that’s not true. Get as much fresh air and sunshine as you can cope with and hopefully your hair will improve. Elena.

Thank you so much

Hi Daisy50 mines the same dry brittle breaking thinning. Not nice when your loved ones tell you your going bald which in a way was a good think because it prompted me to do something about it. Starting taking vit b6 putting coconut oil on twice a week overnight washing in morning or for as long as possible during day using sulphur and parabens free shampoo the garnier range ,honey ones the best, and it actually helped also had hair cut short to get rid of all dead ends and its a lot healthier than it was. Stick with what works for you. 😉

hello,

I would agree with the advice from all the replies you have received so far but would add one suggestion which I found helpful in improving the condition of my hair.

I have SLE and Antiphospholipid Syndrome.

A few years ago when the SLE was at its worst, I developed Alopecia and lost about half of my hair.It grew back after some time but very thin, wispy and grey in places.

I take Evening Primrose Oil along with multivitamins which facilitate its absorbtion.

It has really helped improve the condition of my hair, skin and nails.

Evening Primrose Oil has many benefits. One of which is as an Anticoalgulant. It can help reduce Platelet aggregation, which is why I also use it to help with The Antiphospholipid Syndrome.

Hope things improve for you.

Hi Daisy

I had this as well, hair loss, hair thinning etc.

I use this mixture now instead of shampoo and it has helped my hair enormously. It is now in really good condition and has stopped falling out. Most of my friends and relatives use it now as well and all have commented on how good their hair is now. Apart from anything else it costs nothing like as much as shampoo!

A small clean empty bottle (I use a travel bottle) and fill it up with:-

1/3rd of the bottle Castor Oil

1/3rd of the bottle of a PH Neutral shampoo (I use Holland & Barrett's Aloe Vera Gel)

10 drops of Lemon Essential Oil

10 drops of Rosemary Essental Oil

2 capsules or 1/2 teaspoon of Vitamin E Oil

Shake it up before using every time and use it instead of shampoo. Leave it on for about 5 or 10 minutes before using a good conditioner.

It will lather very well but if you find it does not lather very much just add a little more shampoo.

Good Luck
