Mycophenolate and alcohol.

Just started on Mycophenolate 5 weeks ago. Went out to celebrate my birthday last night and had 2 and a half glasses of champagne. Got home, took my nighttime drugs and couldn’t sleep all night feeling nauseous. Feeling nauseous and quite yuck Today. Any advice on how to treat would be appreciated! Had my toast and lunch and vit c 1000mg. Thanks!

Probably don't mix mycophenolate and alcohol again! Nausea may be an adverse effect of myco, alcohol makes it worse. And in my experience even if you don't experience side effects of one drug, adding in a second can introduce the side effects of the first drug different pairing though)!!

Lots of water to cure the nagover. Sip ginger maybe? Travel sickness pills?

Drink lots of water, take pain relief for any headache and rest. The ill effects will pass.
