Is it ok to say I hurt?

In the US it seems now if you tell your doctor your hurt you get a stanky face. Due to all the folks looking for drugs it makes it hard for others to get help. I have a very high pain tolerance so when I say I hurt it's gotten really bad. I'm in a bad spot in that. I have CKD a cant take NSAIDs and limited in pain meds I can take. Is there help out there to helps those of us that need help to get it with out that stanky face.

Hi. I’m sorry you are experiencing Physician stanky face. I’m here in the US as well and totally understand what you’re saying. I found if I ask for Tylenol#3 & a muscle relaxer physicians don’t act as stanky. I know this combo may not be strong enough for your pain though. 😕. I have friends who use edible cannabis and find some relief also. I hope the US will come up with a list of syndromes, diseases, injuries, etc that are not refused needed pain meds soon. So many people are suffering and are experiencing a major drop in quality of life due to this national stigma of opioid abuse. Warm gentle hugs coming your way from NorCal. 🤗
