I get restless legs when I'm iron deficient. Other people respond to magnesium. It is a horrible thing.

Hi I know how you feel I went to my doctors and saw a different doctor he looked at my left leg and his advice was take 2 paracetamol with 2 codeie at the same time up to 4 times a day also put a pillow or leg pillow under your legs when resting and it works also tea tree oil in the bath helps

I find that magnesium oil spray helps me. I used to have a hard time sleeping because of restless legs, and rubbing the oil into my calves eases that.

Hi kmuirhead ,

There are some tips for lifestyle changes to manage restless legs on the NHS Choices website at nhs.uk/conditions/restless-...

Hi - I have had this for many years. Try rubbing olbas oil or deep freeze gel on your knees and ankles - it works. Some say that Magnesium (with Docs permission) is needed. Good luck
