My two sick kids have ssi we have been homeless for four months and I just finished there recertification and changed there payee

It took me months to look for a payee all of the payee services like Goodwill or st. Vinnie's we're not accepting new clients and we were in the middle of starting a recertification then we became homeless I'm just wondering if we are going to get back the money for the four months that we didn't have a payee
