Mineral mix

I find that each time I take my mineral mix ( Dr M ) I get a flare of painful neck and breasts, a dry throat, breathless feeling pain in muscles and not feeling right at all. I,m wondering if I have thyroiditis and if the iodine content in the mix is causing this.......anyone had similar?

Have you discussed your supplements with your consultant? Some can potentially cause adverse effects in lupus or interact with certain medications.

Vitamin tablets and supplements are not an alternative to eating healthily. If you eat a good balance, particularly of fruit and vegetables, this should give you sufficient vitamins. It is relatively easy to overdose on the fat-soluble vitamins and this can be dangerous to your health (particularly vitamin A) as well as wasting your money.
