Now I've got the TMJ problem . I was just wondering how often you see you dentist . I was only there Friday because I had that terrible toothache come again .
I need to go back to get my teeth clean because I got a bit of plaque I've noticed . I also want to know if they can fit for the mouth guard . I want to try and get an appointment for July . That's not to soon to go back to the dentist is it ?

Otherwise, I have sjogrens dryness so I routinely see my dentist at least once a year, and my hygienist every 3 months. I see my periodontist every 2 years unless a problem crops up
Can sjogrens just happen . I'm a bit worried about that. I knew a lady with lupus and sjogrens and lots of her teeth fell out . She was going to get dentures .
In my case, the dryness was early onset and gradual, affecting all my "holes", so multisystem. At first, I was told this dryness was "sicca symptoms". Eventually urology, gynaecology, ENT & ophthalmology told me I have sjogrens...officially: it is what it is 🤷🏼♀️ none of my consultants is contesting the verdict 😉
I go every six months for a check up and the hygeinist to scrape and clean. That being said, I grew up with a mother for whom tooth brushing was not on her list of necessities, otherwise I'd go once a year, . By incredible good fortune still got my own, except for two back molars I ground away.
The mouth shield has to have a mould taken to get the right fit for you, then a couple of weeks to be made.
If you have a dog, don't leave the shield within reach. Mine thought chewing it was a great idea ....
My mother and father were never big on teeth brushing . My mouth has dentures since she was in her twenties because she ate to many polo mints and they fell out . My father never bothered brushing his . So me and my brothers never knew the importance really
