I have dreads with a few patches of hair loss. My dreads are long and healthy. My dreads are stronger than lupus and Im stronger than lupus too

There is loads of evidence saying nothing works and the OTC expensive bottles that contain an oestrogen based product are not advisable.
Sadly none!
I've lost two thirds of my hair and look like a ping pong ball! Rocking the head scarf look instead!

Hi Hidden ,
When we wrote our blog article about hair loss in lupus, we received comments from quite a few people who had some success with treatments that improved this symptom. You can read the article here -lupusuk.org.uk/coping-with-...
I'm new to hydroxy, been taking it for 6-7 weeks, I've noticed my hair has stopped falling out over past few weeks. I've read quite a lot about it and I'm not sure the expensive hair loss products are worth it. I've used the caffeine shampoos which again I'm not convinced by the claims but they do make my very fine slippery hair feel thicker.
Thank you! 😊
Hydroxychloroquine is working for me after several months I have signs of regrowth- I would read the article suggested, but also Vit D and B12 - good luck.
Thank you for this post, I've recently been reading a lot about hair loss on historical posts on here about it and also the blog/fact sheets etc because I'm having a terrible problem with it. My lupus isn't fully under control at the moment and on top of that I've been dealing with a huge family crisis thus lots of stress which I'm sure isn't helping.
I've been wondering about biotin. Has anyone on here tried it with any success?
