Do I need to tell Rheumy

Hi all I have UCTD and every time I go out in sun or shower this happens to my face.. do I need to show rheumy or should I just leave it

Yes show rheumatologist and report all symptoms

Yes, I have a couple of selfies ready for my rheumy - on the advice of a poster here. Otherwise I'm bound to have my ghostly white face on the day.

Hi Bangoraye ,

It is definitely worth telling your consultant and showing them the photos. Photosensitive rashes are a clinical criteria for diagnosing lupus. Also, you may be able to get a prescription for high factor sunscreen to help protect you and prevent this happening.
