Yes: sorry to say, but ovestin & the alternatives all gave me dreadful skin rashes: starting on my thighs & pelvic girdle, spreading to my arms and chest...the rashes stopped the minute I stopped topical oestrogens. My hyper reactivity to topical hrt is unusual, I'm told....
Thanks for your feedback. I still don't know whether to give it a try or not 😞
For what it's worth: I'm glad I tried topical oestrogens: that experience was an important part of the diagnostic & treatment trial & error process that helps me & all my medics understand my version of immune dysfunction & connective tissue disorder well enough to design an effective bespoke treatment plan. 🍀🍀🍀🍀 coco
Hi,
Just to let you know that Ovestin cream was actually the only one I could use and gave me no side effects.
I am super sensitive to all meds but this one was fine.
It is interesting how different we all are with Coco having a very bad reaction to it.
If I were you I would try a tiny amount first and hopefully it will be OK.
Good Luck!
