Fast heart beat??

Hi I am newly diagnosed with lupus in June and not on any meds. I have just returned from a 3 week holiday in usa...hot weather etc, where I felt fantastic. I have since came home and literally feel horrendous...sickness, headaches and this fast heart beat/fluttering feeling cant sleep anyone any advice/commens as I feel so low and that no one understands TIA.

Have you spoken with your doctor about these symptoms? It sounds as though you could be experiencing the start of a flare. Did you protect yourself sufficiently against the sunlight while on holiday? New immune responses can take over a week to develop, so the effects of sunlight on lupus will not necessarily be on the same day. Thank you Paul for the reply I did protect myself as much as possible whist away wore a hat, high factor and covered up. I haven't seen doctor yet since I've came home but plan to asap I've had blood/urine tests last week to check potassium levels and kidneys and awaiting scan. It looks possibly that this is a flare then. Appreciate your help
