I woke up this morning to a new blister on my foot, (as if it wasn't bad enough already). It does not hurt as long as it is not touched. This is not the first time this has happened. I'm not sure but, I had to take my mother to the emergency Room Thursday night. I did try to wear leather flip flops sandals in the hospital. This blister is where the leather strap was. My dermatologist has told me not to burst these blisters in the past. I don't intentionally burst them but, sometimes I bump it or whatever and it will burst, leaving a scar. Is it possible to have a scar on top of a scar? I have ointment and crem to put on these places when they come up. So absolutely no shoes for sure (I have been π£Barefootπ£ For 2 years anyway because of this foot issue) until this heals, if it is like everything else that will be 4 to 6 weeks.
I'm off to water garden. We have had very little rain here in the southeastern part of the U.S. In my area. Tomatoes are starting to suffer. I can't let that happen!
I hope everyone has or had a good Sunday (depending on what part of world you are in).
Thank you BFG: your courage & positivity inspire me, and your photos & descriptions are enlarging my understanding of the many faces of Lupus & its treatment.
Am wishing you weren't having to live with this, but it's brought you here to us...and of that I'm vvvv grateful.
My blisters aren't as big & angry as yours, but they're awful in their own way. I too have been told not to burst them..they tend to burst eventually no matter how careful I am. And yes they are very sore to the touch + leave a scar. Yes, for sure it's possible to top a scar with another scar!
I hope your mother is recovering ok from the emergency
