Methotrexate and blurred vision

Can methotrexate cause blurred vision, iv only been on it for four weeks, iv more or less had a low grade headache the whole time, but since yesterday my eyes have been terrible? And advice,

Hi go and get them checked I'm on 20mgs mtx plus hydroxocloroquine and sulfazalasine been on them for 2 years and now have cataracts in both eyes so I would get them checked out cheers

I at time get like I'm looking at something crossed eyed (that's the only way I can describe it) but, I'm not crossed eyed. I do see double. I'm also taking methotrexate but, I'm not sure if this is the culprit. I also have malignant hypertension, and I take 12 medications a day just for blood pressure (I take 24 medications a day total). So I'm not sure which or what medications may be causing my blurred double vision, or if any combination there of is causing it.

I hope you find out why. I hope you get better.

So update on this, I spoke to my rheumy consultant yesterday after still really struggling, he sent me straight to the eye infirmary. Turns out that the methotrexate is causing swelling in my eye nerves at the back of my eye, and iv been told to stop the medication, have to go for more tests next week to see if it's done anything permanent. So just a heads up for anyone going through anything similar xx
