Increase in Carbamaprine, waking up with hangover

Gp has increased my medication to 2 x 100mg at night instead of 1 x 100mg and I am waking up with a hangover, nearly a week in now is this normal. It is to help with migraine. I already take 1 x 100mg morning and mid afternoon. She wanted me to increase to a total of 2 x 100mg 3 times a day, a week apart if I needed to. But finding it hard to see if it's working as I feel hungover til after lunchtime.

Does anyone else take this drug for migraine, she seemed to think it was better to increase this rather than give me some thing new.

Thoughts please, so should I just go back? It's a new Gp and don't want her thinking I'm a pain
