Hello there. I have lots of Lung Function Tests for some non-specific resp problems and my spirometry is low normal too. I am not sure if the test you refer to is arterial blood gas or the test that indicates how well oxygen is diffusing into your blood. My understanding is that the Blood Gas can give the Doctors a lot of systemic information whilst the DLCO gives lung-specific information. Without knowing which test you refer to, I wouldn't like to say any more. You could call the BLF helpline? They have given me lots of help in the past and the telephone number is on the HU site.
