how do you know its flared...

ive been diagnosed for about 5 or 6 years now im 21. ive only been through 2 flares once when diagnosed and 2 a year or so after being diagnosed. I think I may be going through my 3rd flare up but am unsure (have an appointment with my gp monday) just wanted to ask how you guys know your going through a flare and its not lifes little obstacles just wearing you out. 3 months ago I could feel I was getting slightly more tired and stressed but put it down to an awful job amd recently moving into a new home with my partner. however over the next few months ive gotten worse. cant bring myself to cook dinner after work I fall asleep on the sofa because im to tired to go to bed. my skin has been very itchy and when I scratch it either swells or blood shot but only in the last 2 weeks have my legs started to ache. im pretty convinced my Lupus has flared but am dissapointed ive gotten this bad before I noticed or considered it was my lupus ... any thoughts? x

When I flare my whole body swells I lose the use of my hands and legs. There is a lot pain and my temp sores to 40.i need help after a few days to walk and to use my hands again.

It leaves me weak for days and sometimes weeks after. So it takes quite a long time to get what I call "normal" we probably all flare in diffrent ways what I have describe is my worse flare.

A flare is definitely a sudden onset or worsening of symptoms like joints aching, inflammation at night, mouth ulcers, hair coming out and it's usually triggered by stress or extra tiredness! Hope that helps and you feel better soon?. Can you adjust your medication or take extra steroids to help at this time?. Take CareX
