Me too, though I can't offer any help. Had this on and off for many years. The only positive is, seems to be not so severe as time passes, also episodes between longer. Hang on in !

Me too, and have found that previous scars hurt if in flare. I thought it was insect bites, and became paranoid about bedding. They can come up at any time and leave scars like chickenpox!

They really hurt. I use Dermocort, but have found that Sudafed soothes them. Rheumy can offer no explanation, but as I blister in sun just said to use total sunscreen.

Yes, been having these for several years now and cannot work out what causes them. I, too, thought they could be bites, but all different and don't think they are - more like something coming out of my body. Some hurt and some don't - itch more, I think. I get them on my hands, arms, shoulders, chest, legs mainly. Doctors haven't been able to help either - seem to think could be allergy and I think that sometimes, too. My skin is full of scars, some turn brown and others stay red for ages.

Me too...thats what is so good about this site you know others understand the things that worry you. If I comment on something like the rash I feel the here she goes again. ?...

I use a good sunblock and sudacream later...in one flare I got a scale rash and saw a dermatologist who diagnosed lichens plantis...also now get white lines on inside of mouth which he says often seen in connective tissue. ?.thoughtbi wad biting due toain at night...

I habe got used to symptomss and my system seems to cope better as time goes by...not ever been ad bad as first time....

Hope things setle for you....

I get this too, consultant told me it's foliculitis, feels and looks exactly like an insect bite. Don't get it as much anymore as medicine seems to be controling it.

Not that I know of x

Has cutaneous vasculitus been ruled out? I get this same rash too, but mostly when exposed to the sun. I also get this rash with certain light bulbs too.
