Snowdragon, I couldn't see the rest of your post, only the intro... but I feel for you.
I too have many conditions, I don't know where I 'fit', my Dr's haven't a clue what to do with me, and I'm afraid as you must be.
I have a long standing diagnosis of MS. I got used to that. Then 3 years ago I had a stroke. In the last two years I've had arterial clots in my right leg , it was touch and go whether it could have been saved. Thankfully the surgeon was fantastic and he worked a miracle. Just as I was getting over that came major PE's and a few TIA's and was dx APS. Then came Pernicious anaemia and lupus "like". I've now got an appointment with a Rheumatologist because more symptoms (breathing difficulties caused by inflammation which hospitalised me for 3 days and an on-going fever) point towards SLE. I also suffer from acute generalised dystonia. Probably as a result of my stroke having been put down to my MS. Sometimes, like today I wonder where does it all end? What's next?
I wish I could get a prognosis. It's just bloody horrible isn't it. Guess what the Dr's think I need? A Psychiatrist.
That's all, I hope you're feeing somewhat better anyway. I just wanted you not to feel alone in having multiple problems .
