anyone on acetylcysteine?

I'm taking NAC - N-acetylcysteine. My naturopath recommended it cos I'm having lung issues and it's an amino acid that's good for mucus clearance etc. (I think). Does that help? Not sure I can tell you very much more but try asking if there is anything you need to know!
