Inspire Lung Cancer Magazine is a new information resource for people living with lung cancer.
The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is proud to launch this free online and printed magazine dedicated to lung cancer issues.
It offers lung cancer news and information about developments in lung cancer treatment and care. It also provides friendly professional advice and the sharing of real-life stories.
Until now, no such information has existed in the UK. In a recent extensive consultation 80% of lung cancer patients and carers said they would like to read a topical magazine aimed at people affected by lung cancer.
Jennifer Dickson, Information Services Manager for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, said: “We hope this publication will increase understanding of any developments in lung cancer treatments and care. Furthermore, by proving sharing of real life experiences we hope to reduce the feeling of isolation commonly felt by people affected by lung cancer.”
